The Cloverport Independent Schools are a part of the traditions and heritage of Cloverport. The school system has been in existence for well over 100 years. Though located in one primary facility, the school system consists of three schools: Frederick Fraize High School, Frederick Fraize Middle School and William H. Natcher Elementary School.
Cloverport Schools were ranked 9th out of 170 school districts per 2008 CATS tests scores.
Frederick Fraize High School was listed by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nations best schools.
The Cloverport Board of Education is located on Main Street.

Breckinridge Co. Area Technology Center
The Breckinridge County Area Technology Center offers students from Breckinridge County High School and Cloverport High School courses in business, welding, machine shop, carpentry, automobile mechanics and health careers.
